Urban Mobility Expert
We are seeking an experienced Urban Mobility Expert to support the implementation of a public transport decarbonisation project in Guimaraes, Portugal.
About the Project
The project aims to develop a comprehensive urban mobility plan for the municipality, focusing on sustainable transportation systems and reducing carbon emissions. As part of this initiative, we require a professional with expertise in urban planning, transport engineering, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies for improving public transportation in Guimaraes, including bus rapid transit (BRT) systems and sustainable urban mobility plans.
* Collaborate with local stakeholders, including government officials, transportation authorities, and community groups, to ensure successful project implementation.
* Provide advisory services on urban planning, transport engineering, and project management, ensuring that projects meet international standards and best practices.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, urban planning, architecture, or a related field.
* At least 15 years of professional experience in the passenger and urban transport sector, with a focus on project management and advisory services.
* Working command of English language (CEFR C1) and knowledge of Portuguese language is an asset.
