Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Managing and resolving daily incidents and service requests related to Linux systems;
* Performing routine system administration tasks, including updates, patching, and monitoring;
* Supporting server maintenance, backups, and performance optimization;
* Contributing to the documentation of procedures, changes, and configurations;
* Assisting with the deployment and configuration of new Linux- based services or infrastructure;
* Escalating complex issues in line with internal escalation procedures.
Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
* 5+ years of proven experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar) ;
* Strong expertise in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service request management;
* Solid knowledge of system updates, patch management, monitoring, and performance tuning;
* Experience with server maintenance, backup strategies, and disaster recovery;
* Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (eg Ansible) ;
* Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar);
* Hands-on experience with Faircom DB implementation on ERP file systems;
* Experience supporting cyber remediation work stream (including O/S upgrades);
* Ability to document processes, procedures, and configurations clearly;
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills;
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Location: Lisbon, remote. Availability for a hybrid regime at the beginning of the project.
