Job DescriptionRole of a Mid/Senior IT Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions aligned with the needs of our high-profile EU and Public Sector clients. Your expertise will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful implementation of agile methodologies and IT solutions.As a Mid/Senior IT Business Analyst you will:Facilitate Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) to support collaboration and efficient delivery.Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements through stakeholder engagement and workshops.Translate requirements into prioritized user stories and manage a structured product backlog.Act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables.Configure systems based on user needs and coordinate customizations with development teams.Support sprint planning, reviews, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business goals.Identify process improvement opportunities and maintain clear documentation for project teams and stakeholders.Work remotely from Portugal - Portuguese citizen ! QualificationsWhat would make you a fit for the role:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (master’s and certifications like CBAP/CSPO are a plus)6+ years of experience as a business analyst, ideally on large-scale projects for European institutions or the public sectorStrong skills in Agile methodologies, business process modeling (BPMN), and tools like ARIS and CamundaProficiency in gathering and translating complex business requirements into actionable technical specificationsFamiliarity with BDD, story mapping, personas, Gherkin syntax, and user testing coordinationFluency in English and Portuguese, with strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detailStrong ability to adapt quickly to complex business environments and a fast learner.Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous communication tools such as Apache Kafka is an asset.
