Our Finance Team keeps Open Cosmos financially strong as we scale.
From day-to-day bookkeeping and payments to reporting, compliance, and strategic insights, the team ensures we stay efficient, accurate, and ready to deliver on our mission.
It's a hands-on, detail-focused group that keeps the business running smoothly while supporting ambitious growth.
What will you be doing?
You'll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations within your local entity, ensuring everything runs smoothly, accurately, and on time.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing international environment — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
Your role will include:
Maintaining accurate accounting records and deliver timely reports.
Managing local tax, compliance, and payroll activities.
Partnering with the Group Finance team on consolidations, audits, and reporting.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights.
Help identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements.
What You'll bring
Solid understanding of accounting principles under local GAAP and IFRS.
Familiarity with tax, payroll, and compliance frameworks.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
A proactive, hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for innovation.
Qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or equivalent technical proficiency.
This role is based in Portugal
