Job Description
As an Industrial Engineer and Resource Planner, the role involves overseeing operational efficiency, planning workforce allocation, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize performance. The position also entails leading productivity improvement initiatives and coordinating projects to achieve operational excellence. Additionally, responsibilities include calculating equipment capacities, managing division demands, and securing investment budgets for new equipment. This role offers a comprehensive training opportunity in Germany to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of processes.
In your new role you will:
* Be responsible for Industrial Engineering (IE ), such as:
* Plan and review of workforce planning for production personnel
* Administration of indirect personnel, including management reporting
* Oversee the Target Cost Roadmap cycle for IE/RP, leveraging in-depth knowledge of KPIs to analyze and optimize performance and to pinpoint opportunities for improvement, including:
o Equipment performance metrics (OEE, utilization rates, downtime)
o Material usage and consumption
o Layout and flow efficiency
o Throughput and productivity metrics
o Headcount and resource allocation
* Lead the Next Level of Productivity (NLoP ) program, including:
o Idea generation for productivity improvement with Engineering & Development team
o Coordination of all productivity initiatives in close collaboration with project managers to ensure project execution on time and within budget
o Contribution to the creation of equipment specifications
* Be responsible for Resource planning, including:
* Calculate capacities of equipment and production lines
* Manage demands of the Division
* Initiate productivity or value stream mapping projects (VSM ) to increase capacities or prepare investments in new equipment
* Prepare capital projects (CPs ) in order to secure the invest budget for specific equipment
Your Profile
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Your strong collaboration and teamwork skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and finance.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A University degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Business, Engineering or similar field of studies
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering / Resource Planning - preferably in automotive or industrial manufacturing industry
* High competency in project management and high knowledge in systems and systematic for IE / Resource Planning
* Willingness to travel to Germany for on-the-job training
* Fluency in English (mandatory)
