Natixis in Portugal is part of the Global Financial Services division, where it applies technology for the development of financial expertise in its two global business lines – Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management – and, transversally, for the entities of Groupe BPCE.
The Centre of Expertise, based in Porto, currently has more than 2,400 employees from over 30 nationalities, organised in three main departments: Information Technology, Banking Support Activities and Compliance. These teams work in an integrated, inclusive and transversal way, supporting and creating value for all the business lines and platforms of the group. The project in Porto is one of the biggest investments in Human Resources ever made by Groupe BPCE worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Provides guidance on technical issues, identifies areas for process improvement and proposes solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Develops and delivers presentations and training sessions on technical topics as well as provides mentoring and coaching to other team members, to help them develop their technical skills.
- Collaborates with other teams within the organization to develop integrated technical solutions.
- Collaborates with product owners and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identifies and resolves complex technical issues and defects as well as conducts technical feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed solutions (if applicable).
- Collaborates with managers and experts to align technology initiatives with overall business goals.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of technical best practices in Natixis.
- May participate in industry conferences and events and stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends.
- May be responsible for the coordination of resources and/or for the informal and functional coordination of technicians with less seniority.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on Angular.
- Solid understanding of backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring, Java, Springboot).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
- Proficient in both French and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
