We are looking for a
PL/SQL Developer
with strong experience in the
financial services sector
, who is also comfortable performing
business analysis activities
, including requirements gathering and close collaboration with business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams and the business, contributing to both system development and functional understanding.
Your Profile
Strong experience with
Oracle PL/SQL development
Solid understanding of
relational databases and SQL
Proven experience in the
financial services / banking sector
Experience performing
business analysis or functional analysis tasks
Ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams
Fluency in
English
(spoken and written)
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience or exposure to
Avaloq
(core banking platform)
Knowledge of core banking processes (payments, accounts, securities, lending, etc.)
Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Background in regulatory or compliance-driven environments
?? What You Will Be Doing
Design, develop, test, and maintain
PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects
Analyse existing systems and propose technical and functional improvements
Perform
business analysis tasks
, including:
Requirements gathering and clarification with business stakeholders
Functional analysis and documentation (business and functional specifications)
Translation of business requirements into technical solutions
Work closely with product owners, business users, and technical teams to ensure alignment
Support integration with core banking platforms and financial systems
Participate in defect analysis, bug fixing, and performance optimization
Ensure compliance with internal standards, data quality, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to testing activities (unit testing, support to UAT)
