We offer the Portuguese National Curriculum from preschool through 4th grade and the Cambridge International Curriculum for grades 5 to 12.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in Business and/or ICT
* Develop and implement a dynamic, student-centred curriculum aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum
* Be part of an academic department, fostering collaboration and continuous professional growth
* Apply innovative teaching methods, including active, inquiry-based, and project-based learning
* Connect concepts to real-world applications, enhancing student engagement
* Promote the integration of technology in teaching
* Support students in extracurricular activities such as projects weeks, workshops, and other interdisciplinary initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
* A bachelor's or master's degree in teaching and the relevant subject
* A recognized teaching qualification and substantial teaching experience
* Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum (Lower Secondary/IGCSE/A-level) or another international curriculum
* Strong classroom management and curriculum development skills
* Experience with active, inquiry-based, and project-based learning methodologies
* Fluency in English (proficiency in Portuguese is a plus)
* Digital literacy and a willingness to integrate technology into teaching
