As we continue expanding our trading operations across global markets, we are seeking a skilled Proprietary Trader to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with proven experience in trading financial markets and generating consistent returns through disciplined strategies. The position offers the opportunity to trade with firm capital while working remotely from Portugal.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute proprietary trading strategies across financial markets including equities, derivatives, forex, or digital assets.
* Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify profitable trading opportunities.
* Develop, test, and refine quantitative or discretionary trading strategies.
* Monitor positions, market movements, and macroeconomic developments affecting trading performance.
* Implement strict risk management protocols and capital allocation strategies.
* Track performance metrics, including profitability, drawdown levels, and risk-adjusted returns.
* Collaborate with analysts and other traders to exchange insights and improve strategies.
* Continuously evaluate new trading tools, technologies, and market opportunities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in proprietary trading, hedge fund trading, or active trading in financial markets.
* Strong understanding of market structure, technical analysis, and risk management principles.
* Experience trading one or more asset classes such as equities, futures, forex, or cryptocurrencies.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret market data quickly.
* Ability to remain disciplined and make rational decisions under market pressure.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
What We Offer
