Job Description: We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Tax IT Business Analyst Team. Strong knowledge in Tax is required.Main Tasks: Requirement formalization and Change Request cycle - Expert Use of BA best practices - Mastery Tax Knowledge - Expert Contribute to pre analysis with Business Clarify, analyze from a critical and constructive perspective, and challenge the need expressed by the Business Formalize the functional requirements and have it validated by Business Provide functional expertise and guidance to IT Developers Contribute on functional testing activities and assist the Business in conducting user tests Follow the various phases of the projects/release Respect workflows, planning and deadlines and ensure a good level of reportingRole and Responsibilities: The employee will execute the responsibilities within the IT Banking Services department in Lisbon. The employee will be part of the Tax IT Business Analyst Team, at Portugal. The Team is composed by 23 team members, between France, India and Portugal.Within this position, the employee will have to: •Contribute to pre analysis with Business; •Clarify, analyze from a critical and constructive perspective and challenge the need expressed by the Business; •Formalize the functional requirements and have it validated by Business; •Provide functional expertise and guidance to IT Developers; •Contribute on functional testing activities and assist the Business in conducting user tests; •Follow the various phases of the projects/release; •Respect workflows, planning and deadlines and ensure a good level of reporting.Technical skills: Master's Degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax or Law; Minimum 4 years' financial industry experience with an emphasis on Tax activity; Experience with Agile methodologies; Experience with relational databases (preferably SQL) Experience with Agile Methodologies – Expert Strong knowledge of Tax activity; Overall general IT knowledge and Custody are a plus;Language skills: English - MasterySoft skills: Business/IT Relationship Analytical Ability Ability to collaborate/Teamwork Ability to understand, explain and support change
