Job Summary
Keyrus is looking for aBusiness Controller with experience in financial controlling, ideally within the banking, insurance, or consulting sectors, to support clients' strategic financial management. The candidate will be embedded in the Management Control team and collaborate across Financial Production and Financial Control, and Performance departments.
This role is crucial to maintaining financial accuracy, supporting budget cycles, analysing multi-GAAP results, and contributing to key transformation initiatives throughout the business.
This position is Hybrid in Porto.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, ensuring reported figures are consistent, accurate, and critically assessed.
- Analyse how operational activities translate into accounting results across multiple accounting standards.
- Contribute to budget preparation, forecasting exercises, and the development of financial dashboards for senior management.
- Collaborate on projects involving the evolution of financial tools such as Power BI, SSAS, Tagetik, and Python-based solutions.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and deep dives requested by the executive and finance leadership.
- Serve as a key actor in the financial transformation journey, leveraging a central and strategic role in Porto.
Requirements for the role
- 3+ years in financial controlling, ideally with exposure to insurance, banking, or financial services consulting.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dynamic analysis).
- Familiarity with Tagetik, SAP, VBA, Access, and BI tools such as Power BI or SSAS is a significant asset.
- Capacity to interrogate, synthesise, and critically analyse large data sets for management-level decision support.
- Experience contributing to tool and process transformation within finance functions.
- Must be a Portugueseor Europeancitizen or have a work permit for Portugal
