Senior News Editor Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior News Editor to create engaging content in the AdTech industry.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and independent thinker who can take ownership of tasks, ensure timely and high-quality output, and collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.
To excel in this role, you will need to cover marketing and AdTech news on Trending Brands with sharp, original stories, a strong editorial sense, and a knack for using SEO, CMS, and AI tools to boost impact and efficiency.
Key objectives include publishing 3-5 timely, SEO-optimized marketing stories per day that engage senior decision-makers from the U.S., generating 10,000+ monthly unique views on Google SERPs within 3 months, launching a weekly editorial column, securing 3-5 monthly editorial partnerships, and publishing 1+ exclusive, high-value content format monthly.
Main Responsibilities:
* Pitching and writing original news articles, explainers, and editorial stories focused on the marketing and AdTech industries.
* Uploading and formatting articles in our CMS.
* Applying SEO best practices.
* Improving processes and workflow automation using AI tools and agents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in digital journalism for B2B publications.
* Deep understanding of AdTech, MarTech, and branding trends.
* Fluency in written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently and generate high-volume, high-quality content.
* Familiarity with gap analysis using Google Analytics and Ahrefs.
* Strong knowledge of AI tools, AI agents, and workflows.
