Our client is a multinational based in Porto.What will you do?
In this role you will:-Payroll Management: Validate and audit all work performed by the external provider (outsourcing), ensuring an excelent standard.
-Complex Calculations: Manage overtime, severance pay (dismissal), bonuses, and company profit-sharing (participation).
-Legal Compliance: Analyze and implement new French tax and labor laws (regulations change constantly; we require a high capacity for continuous learning and updates).
-Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of Social Security sick leave payments (IJSS) and correct any discrepancies.
-Communication: Support internal employees with payslip inquiries while maintaining active contact with HR, ADP, and French official bodies.
-Back-Office Support: Primarily support payroll tasks, with residual assistance to general Back-Office (BO) operations.Who are we looking for?
You are what we are looking for if:- You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Law or related- Administration and settlement of Payroll, proven senior experience in Payroll for France min eighth years- You have solid knowledge about the French Labor legislation (Social Security, Hiring's, Terminations, Absences, Unions, Occupational Medicine, others)- Experience with different collective agreements is required, as well as previous experience in an HR Shared Service center/contact center is a plus- Taxes knowledge withholding at source is requiredIn addition:- Experience with HR systems implementations and/or optimizations is a plus- Experience with processes development and implementation- You are a native or fluent French (level requirement C1/C2) and mandatory English B1- Knowledge in SAP, Teams, Office 365, Ticketing systemsWhat do we offer?
