Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage risks related to outsourcing and third-party arrangements.
This role will collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and service delivery teams in New Zealand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper documentation and regulatory reporting deliverables related to third-party management.
Main Responsibilities
* Owning and implementing the third-party risk management policy and operating model for IT supply chain
* Managing third-party risk management activities, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, and vendor monitoring
* Planning IT changes and overseeing performance of material fourth-party suppliers for outsourced IT services
* Monitoring IT service quality, including escalations and improvement plans through SLAs and KRIs
* Ensuring approvals are processed through internal governance for outsourcing changes and vendor lifecycle deliveries
* Providing clear guidance for staff on third-party risk management procedures, risk assessments, and their ongoing accountability
* Ensuring compliance with EBA guidelines on outsourcing arrangements (DORA)
* Preparing reports for senior management on outsourcing risks, compliance, and performance
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as IT, finance, business administration, or economics
* 3+ years of experience in a role involving vendor management, outsourcing, or third-party risk management
* Knowledge of outsourcing and business resilience regulations and how they apply to retail financial services
* Experience developing service management, monitoring processes, and conducting risk assessments for outsourcing arrangements
* Fluency in English
