Role Summary
The role of systems administrator is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. This position demands a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless system performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Patching, domain controller configuration, Group Policy management, DNS troubleshooting for Windows Server administration;
* Strong understanding of Active Directory: multi-site replication, OU structure, secure user/group management;
* Solid knowledge of AWS core services: EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, WAF, etc.; Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.; Networking experience: switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN connectivity, routers, VPNs;
* Awareness of system security, vulnerability management, and security protocols; Knowledge of system backup and recovery procedures;
* Willingness to work outside regular business hours occasionally; Ability and willingness to learn new skills on the job;
* Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities; Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Enthusiastic, self-driven, proactive, able to work on own initiative;
* Ability to work independently and as a team player, across different sites and time zones.
Desirable Skills
* Exposure to scripting for infrastructure or operational automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python); Awareness of cloud-native security practices, e.g. least privilege, audit logging;
* Proficiency in AWS advanced services: Security Groups, Load Balancing, VPN, SES, CloudWatch Logs, Workspaces;
* Familiarity with containerization concepts (Docker, ECS) and AWS integration;
* Knowledge of virtual environments: VMware ESX, SAN storage, virtual networking, replication, Veeam backup;
* Experience in patch management;
* Skills in scripting & process automation aligned with DevOps principles.
