Hybrid work location.Location:Europe/Middle East/Africa, Spain, Community of Madrid, Madrid.Reports To:Subcluster Iberia Supply Chain Manager.What You Will DoThe Demand Planner is responsible for evaluating demands from internal customers, preparing comprehensive demand plans, maintaining forecast plans, facilitating forecast discussions, conducting monthly demand business reviews, managing data integrity, developing performance metrics, coordinating analysis of monthly demand, and resolving gaps between financial and statistical forecasts. The role also involves recommending outsourcing when demand exceeds capacity and producing monthly reports such as MAPE, BIAS, Inventory, SLOBS, and OTIF.Main ResponsibilitiesLead IBP Process within the market (Baseline review, Demand Review, and Supply Review forums).Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned products and markets, utilizing statistical forecasting tools and collaborating with cross‐functional teams.Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify demand patterns and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand market trends and customer needs to ensure accurate demand forecasting.Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.Identify and communicate potential supply chain disruptions and work with cross‐functional teams to develop contingency plans.Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency.Provide regular reports and analysis to management on demand planning performance and market trends.Develop and maintain comprehensive demand plans for specific business units or product lines in alignment with internal customer demands.Analyze internal capacity and develop plans to align supply and demand to meet customer requirements.Facilitate interim forecast discussions and updates with supply chain partners and internal stakeholders to clarify demand requirements and drive improvements in forecast accuracy.Conduct monthly demand business reviews and coordinate the analysis of monthly demand to ensure accuracy and identify trends.Implement and manage forecasting software and supporting systems to improve forecasting accuracy.Develop and review performance metrics in areas of quality, cost, and delivery to support key supplier scorecards and business reviews.Research, recommend, and implement multiple statistical models to develop and drive consensus forecasts for assigned business segments.Produce and review monthly reports within specified time frames.Ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.SkillsAdvanced in statistical forecasting tools and ERP systems.Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on increasing accuracy and efficiency.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate discussions with cross‐functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‐paced environment.Proficiency in forecasting software and supporting systems.Knowledge of statistical models and their application in demand planning.Experience in developing and reviewing performance metrics.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.4–6 years of experience in demand planning or related fields such as procurement.Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to work with large data sets.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross‐functional teamwork.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‐paced environment.What's In It For YouCompetitive benefit package.Health insurance.Life insurance.Pension plan.Flexible work policy.Learning and development opportunities.If you are an individual with a disability, please check our Disability Assistance page for information on how to request an accommodation.
