NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients.About This OpportunityYou'll join a team of 1 employee in Copenhagen and 5 colleagues in Lisbon and be a central part of the Asset Management value chain under Operations & Technology. Nordea Asset Management is responsible for all actively managed investment products in Nordea and handles the development, implementation, the daily production and the support and management of our product offering, including the operation and management of the fund companies. The role is based in Quinta da Fonte, Oeiras.What you'll be doing:
Taking care of our daily operational tasks covering issues such as trade confirmation, reconciliation, investigations and payments.On a daily basis interact with counterparties, clearing brokers and other internal- and external business units.You will take part in developing new and better control routines. Efficient work standards and an ability to deliver high quality even under tight deadlines.Fluency in English (writen and spoken) is mandatory.You have finished a bachelor/master level education within finance, engineering or mathematics.Structured as the work covers both daily rutines, adhoc issues and longer projects.Knowledge about derivatives is preferential, but not a requirement, as we will train you.Knowledge of or an interest in at least one of the following coding languages: VBA, Python and SQL developer is preferential, but not a requirement.
