Responsibilities- Approve first and last part produced according to product quality specifications to assure good parts produced- Ensure the collection of samples to be analysed by the laboratory in accordance with the control plan, in order to guarantee product quality and process stability- Act as the first quality point of contact to evaluate and decide doubts that arise in the production process, in line with quality requirements- Analyse parts that do not meet quality standards on the first attempt (FTQ) and decide whether they can be reintroduced into the production line, scrapped, reworked, or analysed in the laboratory- Open quality alerts, ensure containment, and lead the cross-functional team to resolve issues effectively- Engage supplier quality team to proceed with incoming inspection when defects are found on raw materials in accordance with internal procedures- Execute statistical process control to ensure the stability of manufacturing processes (PQ)- Physically and systematically block suspect parts to prevent them from reaching the customer- Collect system data and perform Measurement System Analyses (MSA) to ensure product and process stability- Maintain and update quality documentation (control instructions, first-piece records, and RAPIDS actions)- Execute R&R duties on the production line- Perform sampling control in production lines according to the control plan- Ensure the production of PPAP parts and delivery to the laboratory for testing in accordance with the control plan- Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety work standards, policies and practices at the level of responsibility- Meet environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards- Adhere to the organization's rules and internal regulations, including the Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule- Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules- Respect and comply with environmental policy rules- Perform other duties and tasks on assigned special projects and assignments not included in the activity for which hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needsRequirements & CompetenciesAcademic Background- Technical Degree or bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management or a related fieldProfessional Experience- 1 to 3 years of experience in quality auditing, preferably within the automotive industryHard Skills- Familiarity with industry standards (IATF *****, VDA 6.3, ISO ****) (preferred)- Strong understanding of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP)- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings- Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, 8D)- Experience using measurement instruments (steel ruler, caliper, micrometer, comparators, multimeter, screw thread micrometer, feeler gauge) and conducting inspections- Fluent in English- Fluent in PortugueseSoft Skills- Decision making in quality- Conflict management- Results orientation- Interpersonal savvy- Complexity management#J-*****-Ljbffr
