Our organization is seeking a talented Front-end Web Developer with strong HTML and CSS skills to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with both traditional CMS platforms and developer-centric, modular systems that allow for direct control over front-end code and content structure.
This role includes integration with widely used platforms like WordPress, as well as custom or hybrid CMS environments that blend framework-level control with content editing functionality.
A good eye for visual design is also important. While this is not a design role, you should be comfortable translating layouts, typography, spacing, and visual styles into pixel-accurate front-end code.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain responsive, standards-compliant websites using HTML, CSS, Stylus, Sass, PostCSS, and related tools.
• Integrate front-end components into both mainstream and modular CMS platforms using custom templates and reusable code blocks.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and content teams to turn static mockups into engaging user experiences.
• Troubleshoot issues related to responsiveness, browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO performance, and WCAG accessibility compliance.
• Perform regular updates and enhancements while maintaining code quality and consistency.
• Stay current with emerging tools, front-end frameworks, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML and CSS, with a demonstrated ability to build clean, maintainable front-end code.
• Experience working with content management systems—both mainstream (e.g., WordPress) and developer-oriented platforms that rely on modular templates and structured code-based workflows.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong grasp of layout, spacing, typography, and visual presentation.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery is preferred but not required.
• Awareness of SEO fundamentals, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser considerations.
