Ryanair Labs are currently recruiting for an iOS Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Ryanair as we aim to expand our fleet to 800 aircraft and serve 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

Ryanair Labs is the technology division of Ryanair, serving as a state-of-the-art digital & IT innovation hub dedicated to creating Europe’s leading travel experience for our customers.

Portugal is the latest addition to our digital portfolio, operating with a 100% work-from-home policy. Our offices are based in Dublin, Madrid, and Wroclaw, allowing collaboration across locations.

The Role

We seek talented iOS developers to join our new digital development team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with our development and product teams to develop, modify, and support our iOS native apps. A passion for emerging mobile technologies and a drive for digital transformation are essential. You should thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be excited about helping Ryanair become a digital leader.

Responsibilities:

* Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
* Develop high-quality, testable, and performant apps using Agile methodologies
* Promote best practices in technology and software development within the team
* Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to shape, estimate, and plan new features
* Participate in regular showcases of new work for stakeholders
* Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency


Requirements

* Deep familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch
* Experience with Autolayout, xibs, and storyboards
* Experience working in a continuous development environment with source control tools like GIT
* Experience collaborating with UI/UX teams
* Knowledge of mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
* Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
* Published one or more iOS apps in the App Store
* BSc/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* At least 2 years of professional iOS development experience
