What will you do?
* Perform daily production checks to identify delays or errors in processes or flows and ensure prompt corrective actions from relevant departments.
* Coordinate with IT Operations teams and subsidiaries to manage the full lifecycle of production incidents.
* Maintain constant communication with corporate entities to update them on incident statuses.
* Assist in resolving data-related issues.
* Create reports on significant events and incidents, and suggest improvements for monitoring dashboards.
* Respond to infrastructure requests (networks, databases, storage, etc.).
* Coordinate deliveries, including CI/CD toolchains for pre-production and production environments, with IT Operations.
* Monitor infrastructure expenses in collaboration with the FINOPS group.
* Assess modifications and propose improvements.
* Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* At least one year of strong experience with Dremio.
* Technical skills in Shell scripting and SQL on Dremio Unix.
* Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana (ELK), Kibana, and Dynatrace.
* Familiarity with ITIL and incident management tools like ServiceNow, Jira.
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, DBT, GitLab.
* Knowledge of orchestration tools like Airflow, Reflections, and Autosys.
* Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Proficiency in English at least C1 level.
* Based in Portugal (citizenship or valid Work Visa is mandatory).
