As a Product Data Management Expert, you will support our development teams by ensuring efficient and structured project data management. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Creating and updating BOM structures in the eBikePDM System (SAP) based on input from the engineering team, from the first A-sample BOM to the final SAP structure release.
2. Creating and maintaining ECR (Engineering Change Request) in collaboration with project management and engineering teams.
3. Following up on the ECR release process across Bosch departments, from data input to final implementation.
4. Maintaining an updated overview of ongoing tasks in PDM and ECR environments (Bosch SAP systems).
5. Tracking lead times per activity to ensure timely task completion.
6. Creating user documentation and conducting training to ensure proper process usage and minimize support requests.
7. Supporting teams in solving data management challenges and implementing best practices.
8. Contributing to continuous improvement of data management processes by identifying optimization opportunities.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Information Technology, or related experience.
Experience
- Experience working in Agile teams, familiar with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of product development processes and data management.
- Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., PLM, SAP, Excel, Power BI).
- Fluency in English (mandatory); German is a plus.
