We are currently recruiting, for integration in our internal team/client, professionals with the following profile:
PL/SQL Developer - Remote
Tasks:
- Conversion of complex Oracle Packages to PostgreSQL, including validation and testing.
- Conversion of Oracle Types to PostgreSQL (partially JSONB), including validation, functional, and unit testing (pgTAP).
- Corrections in PostgreSQL or application code to ensure operability of migrated objects (e.g., Types, Views, Materialized Views) or to improve performance of converted objects.
- Performance optimization of migrated PostgreSQL-packages and functions
- Usage of PostgreSQL advanced features: Inheritance handling, JSONB, Index, Autonomous Transactions handling, IN/OUT/INOUT Parameters, Exception Handling, Cursors, Global Variables (not directly supported, e.g., use of set_config),
Hard skills
- +3 years of experience with PL/SQL
- Experience in PostgreSQL or Oracle Database
- Experience working with SQL on relational databases
- English B2/C1
