Why this job is important
As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be part of a dynamic and integrated Finance function delivering operational Finance specialist services. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Quote to Cash (Q2C), you will be responsible for collections and cash-application related activities. Your role will involve working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards.
What you'll be doing
1. Monitoring and overseeing performance of the 3rd party Collections team.
2. Ensuring compliance with credit and collection policy, process, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
3. Providing guidance to business stakeholders to assist with unlocking specific collection issues or resolving disputes.
4. Guaranteeing efficient collections, maximizing cash flow, reducing overdue payments, and decreasing bad debt write-offs.
5. Leading and developing the team of Q2C - Credit and Collections Analyst.
The skills & experience needed as Accounts Receivable Manager
1. Degree in Management/Accounting/Business Administration or equivalent.
2. Detailed understanding of the customer to cash process; from client onboarding to cash application.
3. Skilled user of the GETPAID software is a plus.
4. Fluent English.
5. Clear leadership and ability to shape future decisions.
6. Adaptability to change objectives and priorities to deliver results.
7. Clear communication within the company missions and values.
8. Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as period end.
9. Knowledge of key business process technologies, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
10. Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress and pressure, target and result driven, energetic and driven with a real hands-on approach to the job.
11. Experience in managing remotely and large teams.
12. Ability to identify and diagnose continuous improvement opportunities.
