Startup Summit Lisbon **** is looking for aChief Vibe Officer.
This is not a corporate role.
Your main job is to make the internet like us.
More specifically: you'll help us show up in comment sections, reply to founders, make people laugh, create small viral moments, and give Startup Summit the kind of online personality that makes people think:
"Wait... who is running this account?"
Think Ryanair Twitter energy, but for startups.
Less "We are pleased to announce."
More "Your startup has been in stealth for 4 years. It's time to come outside."
What you'll do
You'll help us:
Leave funny, sharp, on-brand comments on LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, X and Facebook
Reply to founders, startups, investors, speakers and partners
Turn boring startup/event topics into funny, human, shareable moments
Jump into relevant conversations without sounding like a brand intern from ****
Help us make Startup Summit feel alive, cheeky and founder-first online
Spot trends, memes and founder pain we can turn into content
Keep the tone playful without becoming rude, cringe or legally terrifying

Who we're looking for
You should be:
Fluent in English
Ideally also fluent in Portuguese
Funny, fast and chronically online
Comfortable writing short, punchy comments
Interested in startups, founders, tech, events or internet culture
Able to understand when to be cheeky and when to behave
Good at spotting jokes before everyone else does
Not scared of posting, replying and engaging publicly
You do not need 10 years of experience.
You do not need a marketing degree.
You do need taste, humour and good judgement.
Important: this is unpaid
This is an unpaid role.
In return, you'll get visibility, public credit, experience working on one of Europe's most ambitious startup events, access to the Startup Summit community, and the chance to build a very visible portfolio of social media/community work.
You'll also get a free pass to Startup Summit Lisbon ****.
For the right person, this could become a very fun way to get noticed by founders, startups, investors, creators and potential employers.
Time commitment
Flexible.
We care more about consistency and quality than pretending this is a 9–5.
A few good comments a day can be more valuable than a 40-page social strategy nobody reads.
