Recruit 121 is currently looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join a new project. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise across SAP systems and the ability to operate in a multilingual, collaborative environment.
Location: Portugal
Languages: Portuguese & English (fluent) | Spanish (advantageous)
Work Model: Remote with occasional travel within Portugal
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and landscapes.
* Monitor and optimize system performance.
* Manage transports, patches, upgrades, and support package updates.
* Oversee system security, roles, authorizations, and user management.
* Troubleshoot SAP Basis issues and provide root-cause analysis.
* Support SAP migrations, system refreshes, and system copies.
* Collaborate with technical and functional teams across multiple locations.
* Assist with database administration (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, etc.).
Technical Skills
* SAP Basis (SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA Basis)
* SAP Solution Manager, SAP HANA Studio
* SAP Fiori administration (advantageous)
* System installation, configuration, patching
* Performance monitoring & tuning
* Backup, recovery, high availability & disaster recovery
* SAP Transport Management (TMS)
Candidate Profile
* 5+ years of SAP Basis experience
* Fluent in Portuguese & English
* Spanish knowledge is a plus
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Able to travel occasionally within Portugal
