WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
You will be part of the team working from Lisbon in the development of the Galileo Second Generation Radio Frequency Constellation Simulator (G2G RFCS), the largest contract ever signed by GMV in Portugal.
This activity falls within the Galileo Public Regulated Service (PRS) context and it is tightly linked with other PRS activities within GMV Group, identified as strategic for the maintenance of the European leadership position of GMV in the Galileo programme.
The activity is hosted by the GNSS Signal Technologies division and reinforces our strategic objective to become a worldwide supplier of Signal Simulator products for the current GNSS and for the future Galileo 2nd Generation.
The direct customer for this project is the European Space Agency (ESA).
You will work in an international environment with highly specialized customers and dealing with many technical challenges.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
You will directly report to the Head of GNSS Signal Technologies Division who will also be acting as project manager of this activity, with you as part of the core team.
As Development Leader, your duties will be the following: Manage the development team Planning, monitoring and control of the development activities Integrate team members, provide coaching and technical leadership Ensure that the team adheres and maintains high quality standards Support to the technical manager to analyze and propose technical solutions, contributing to the design of the product Contribute along the development life cycle to the analysis of requirements, (un)anticipated evolutions, assess impact on the development activities and adjust according to priorities Conduct a significant part of the work in a Restricted Access Area Be book captain of documentation related to the development activities Support the definition of development and management plans Contribute to the definition of the company strategy with regard to the customer.
Required knowledge At least 5-10 years experience in development teams Eligible for Personal Security Clearance.
Experience in the design, implementation, integration, validation of complex systems Experience in applying and following GMV's quality standards and project monitoring procedures.
Passion for challenges and technology.
Good communication skills in English.
Agile practitioner.
Valuable knowledge: Experience in integration of SW/ HW systems Experience in Galileo operational projects for ESA General/specific knowledge of GNSS WHAT DO WE OFFER?
