Main Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable SQL queries to support reporting and analytics needs;
* Optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and availability;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions;
* Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to minimize operational impact;
* Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures;
* Implement and promote best practices in data governance, quality, and security within Azure environments;
* Work within agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and deliveries;
* Partner with developers and analysts to deliver accurate and reliable reporting solutions for business and IT stakeholders.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in database development or data engineering;
* Strong understanding of relational databases;
* Proficiency in SQL and other data processing languages;
* Proven experience with
Microsoft Azure Data Services
and cloud-based data environments;
* Familiarity with
agile methodologies
;
* Proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to learn and embrace new technologies;
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly;
* Fluent in
English
(spoken and written).
