Known for their end-to-end capabilities and precision delivery, they support some of the world's largest names in the data centre sector across the UK and Europe.As they continue to scale their operations globally, they're seeking Project Managers to lead the delivery of high-performance fibre and connectivity infrastructure projects.
You'll play a key role in maintaining operational excellence from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.What you'll be doingLeading fibre and structured cabling project delivery across mission-critical environmentsActing as the primary interface between clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teamsEnsuring health & safety compliance across all activities, promoting a strong safety-first cultureSupporting pre-construction planning, installation methodology, and commercial reviewManaging subcontractor performance and resolving delivery challenges as they ariseProviding regular internal and client-facing project reports using standardised tools and templatesOverseeing scheduling, documentation, variation management, and risk registersWorking closely with commercial and procurement teams to support profitable deliveryOffering leadership and guidance to project teams on-site, ensuring clarity and accountabilityChampioning continuous improvement and innovation in project deliveryWhat we're looking forProven experience managing fibre/connectivity projects (ideally in data centres or critical environments)Strong understanding of structured cabling, optical fibre, and related technologiesExperience leading teams and coordinating subcontractors across multi-site or EMEA projectsEffective communicator with excellent stakeholder management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Project and other project toolsCommercial awareness, including cost control and contract variation handlingFlexibility to travel across the UK and Europe as requiredNice to have (not essential)Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2)CDCPM or relevant data centre credentialsSMSTS / IOSH / ECS card (or local equivalent)Technical background in engineering, M&E, or telecomsExperience working with Tier 1 contractors or end clients in data centre environments
