We're seeking a skilled Technical Account Specialist (TAS) to play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our Mainframe customers. This individual will align cutting-edge solutions with business objectives, driving adoption, retention, and growth while serving as a trusted advisor across all levels—including the executive suite.
Key responsibilities include:
* Elevating customer value by maximizing ROI, driving adoption, and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
* Collaborating with Sales and account teams to execute customer success strategies.
* Mentoring and fostering strong partnerships between customers, internal teams, and partners.
* Partnering with customers to design Business Roadmaps and support transformative initiatives.
* Developing a deep understanding of customer business challenges to map solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
* Helping establish governance, change management, and Centers of Excellence programs.
* Identifying and mitigating risks to customer success.
* Advocating for customers internally while influencing product and service evolution.
* Contributing thought leadership and best practices around business transformation.
* Supporting renewal processes to ensure ongoing success and minimize attrition.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* 5+ years of experience with z/OS systems or major subsystems (especially DB2).
* Hands-on experience with Mainframe monitoring tools.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Proven customer engagement experience, including C-level interactions.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
* Problem-solving, analytical, and executive facilitation skills.
* A track record of managing complex, enterprise-level accounts.
* A degree in Computer Systems or a related technical field (or equivalent experience in systems/software programming).
