Our Technology & Operations department is at the forefront of innovation and development, driving product improvement to reduce energy costs for our customers. As a key part of this team, you will contribute to designing the architecture and roadmap for our products, ensuring they meet market demands. This involves translating product requirements into module specifications and integrating value chains across multiple locations.
The Loads and Control Quality department plays a critical role in overseeing fleet performance, including load and power performance. They investigate issues reported from the field and collaborate with design teams to share insights gained from failures.
Responsibilities:
* Review power performance test plans and results
* Perform technical Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to explain performance deviations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
* Provide statistical analysis with critical thinking skills to scrutinize data solutions before implementation
* Address problem-solving needs by leveraging insights from networking with colleagues
* Demonstrate proficiency in understanding intricate electrical, mechanical, load & control, and sensor systems
* Be a good team member in a global environment with a geographically dispersed and multicultural team
Required Skills and Qualifications
Key qualifications include:
* A relevant technical education, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields like mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, controls & power systems engineering
* 7- years of experience in the wind industry, specifically in wind measurements, configuring measurement masts, control system engineering, wind sensors, SCADA data analysis, and power curve verification testing
* Knowledge of Measnet and IEC standards
* Basic understanding of turbine operations
* Knowledge of coding (mainly R and Python)
* Proficient English communication skills for presenting and discussing results with stakeholders
