HRB Solutions is a leading provider of cybersecurity and incident response services to the biopharmaceutical industry. We are currently hiring for a Cybersecurity Incident Response Trainee to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Work with all cybersecurity departments to analyze multiple artifacts to learn the Incident Response process.
* Investigate, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents within the environment or enclave.
* Use data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools (e.g., IDS alerts, firewalls, network traffic logs), and host analysis.
* Analyze events that occur within our environments for the purposes of mitigating threats.
* Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across a wide variety of all source data sets
* Proactively search for Behaviors of Compromise and Enablers of Compromise throughout our enterprise.
* Able to conduct Open-Source research regarding threats to our enterprise, and Indicators Of Compromise (IOC) of an event.
* Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and share insights with the team.
Qualifications
* University Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or related majors;
* Fluency in English, oral and written (mandatory);
* Strong interest in Cybersecurity;
* Broad knowledge of the workings of security-related controls (e.g. firewalls, anti-malware, security monitoring or data encryption);
* Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Outsystems, etc.);
* Strong skills in terms of analysis, attention to detail, problem solving and prioritization of tasks;
* Excellent oral/written communication skills, organization and responsibility;
* Self-motivated, able to work independently, curious, and willing to learn.
