Multinational in the Energy & Renewables sector is currently looking to hire a Head of Renewable Energy Communities for its operations in Lisbon.
Description
Structure, negotiate, and close long-term
Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
for individual projects and portfolios.
Develop and execute
commercial strategies
tailored to the Portuguese and European energy markets, consistently achieving and exceeding targets.
Manage the full
origination and sales lifecycle
, from initial prospecting to contract execution.
Prepare and coordinate PPA processes, including: Commercial offer preparation, Management of competitive tender processes, Direct interaction and negotiation with off-takers.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with: Industrial and multisite clients, Strategic partners, Local and regional stakeholders.
Lead and support
complex contractual negotiations
, ensuring successful execution through to closing.
Monitor market and industry dynamics, including: Competitor activity, Regulatory and market trends and Long-term energy price developments.
Support
marketing and business development
initiatives.
Prepare and present commercial results and proposals to internal
decision-making committees
.
Profile
Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
PPA sales / energy commercialization
Business development in the energy sector
Negotiation of complex contracts
Strong knowledge of: Solar PV, Energy Storage (BESS), Electricity markets (preferably Iberian/European)
Proven experience in business development and delivering commercial results
Strong ability to engage with industrial clients
Fluency in Portuguese and English (other European languages are a plus)
