City Events Producers
to lead our local events calendar. This role is part-time (~10h/week), remote, flexible, and paid as an independent contractor —ideal for someone already producing events or activating hospitality venues who wants to earn extra income doing what they love.

Starting Sept 1, we're scaling our event offerings across Lisbon, Madrid, and Barcelona—and we need local producers to bring the magic to life.
Role Overview
This is a freelance, project-based role with no obligation to attend events or engage with the community in person (although we hope you feel inspired by our people, and offer free membership and free tickets to events). However, we want you laser focus is on event

, and planning—on your own schedule, behind the scenes.
Job Responsibilities
1. Design Monthly Events (up to 8 per month, depending on the season):
* Source and negotiate venues (bars, rooftops, cultural spaces). We trust you to use your network and bring us partnerships with people you trust.
* Secure cash-back deals per OneThousandClub terms (based on group size - see below for our required terms to submit an event for approval)
* Create a simple run-of-show + event concept based on our templates (and our community support manager will do all the day of administration, day of production, and host coordination)
* Submit list of vendor invoices for payment in internal systems
2. Publish & Launch:
* Build ticketing pages via (template provided, very fast and easy tool)
* Draft a 1-pager event brief for each event so the team knows how to take it and run it the day of (again, all you're responsible for is the advanced planning)
3. Plan Quarterly Signature Parties:
* Collaborate with the team on our 4 seasonal flagship events per year (e.g. Summer Party, Members Awards Gala, Christmas Ball, and Fall "Back to Cool" Experiential Dinner party) with elevated production and experience design. We typically hire a event planner dedicated entirely to each of these parties, but you'll help with the concept and coordinating the team we use to bring it all together
Monthly Event Mix
Each city manager should produce the following each month:
* 2 Roundtable Dinners
(10–12 people, simply finding a new private room & menu in a restaurant that aligns with the high-end nature of our brand)
* 1 Afterwork Drink/Salon
at local bar/rooftop (25–50 people, privatization not needed).

(25–75 people, member-only. typically a partnership with existing art/music/cultural experiences we privatize for a night for members )
All event types follow existing templates and venue roster (no need to re-create the wheel, we've got all the tools and templates to make it easy ) and should be finalized
6+ weeks ahead
of the date planned. Event budgets will be set based on a price per person, and can range from €20-100 euros depending on event. At least 1 event per month will have a phone-check and be a phone-free space
Cash Back Terms
This role must be filled by someone who is a great negotiator, and gets joy out of making deals within the hospitality industry. Events in commercial spaces need to include our standard cash-back deal.
* 10% cash back from venue: less than 20 people
* 15% cash back from venue: 20-50 people
* 20% cash back from venue: 50+ people
Ideal Background
* Proven experience producing events (hospitality, nightlife, cultural, or experiential)
* Strong local network of venues, chefs, artists, DJs, and spaces
* Great negotiation skills (for cash-back deals and partnerships)
* Ability to work independently, on your own hours
* Organized, reliable, and delivery-focused
* No community management required — just great events
Hiring Process
We're recruiting directly from the scene: if you're a bar owner, club manager, event planner, or cultural connector—this role is built for you.

Compensation & Perks
This is a deliverable based role, where pay is dependent on a complete and timely delivery of calendar of events
Monthly Base Pay
* Dependent on delivering 8 event
's and associated 8 event briefs
(unless agreed otherwise).
Delivery should be at a pace of apx. 2 per week
.
* Events must be delivered 6 weeks in advance of event date
(for the Host Team to have plenty find a host). Managing deal timelines and deliverables is your independent responsibility, no micro-management will be done by company. However, if delivered without the company-required lead time, events may be rejected and not count towards your monthly total. If continuous delays in producing events per timeline, role will be terminated.
* Base pay will be prorated each month if less than 8 are delivered or event briefs are incomplete (e.g. if only 6 are delivered, pay will be €750).
If events are not aligned with the specific 8 event types, they will also not be accepted and pay prorated.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: Role will be terminated if 2 or more events run at a loss per quarter OR if total loss on events per quarter is >€1,000
Quarterly Bonus Pay
After the trial period of 3 months (to demonstrate cash-back terms can be met and a increase in event revenue executed) a profit share scheme will be applied. Our target is a 40/60 profit split (common in the industry) once each city-units gets to €25k in quarterly event revenue.
Bonus Pay Levels
* City Event Revenue 25% profit share
* City Event Revenue €18.75k–25k/quarter → Role demonstrating solid growth —→ 35% profit share
* City Event Revenue €25-50k/quarter → City operating at targeted profitablity —> 40% profit share
