Core Responsibilities and Skills Technical Vision & Mission: Drive the architectural roadmap and operational excellence, ensuring a strong connection with the team while sustaining an ambitious and scalable technical vision. Backend Mastery (.NET): Extensive experience in modern Microsoft stacks, particularly with C#, .NET Core, .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Web APIs. Architectural Leadership: Deep expertise in designing Microservices, Domain‐Driven Design (DDD), Distributed Systems, and High‐Availability/Resilient architectures. Event‐Driven Strategy: Hands‐on experience with asynchronous messaging systems (Service Bus, Event Grid, Kafka, or equivalent) in complex ecosystems. Cloud & Containers: Mastery of Cloud environments—primarily Azure (with GCP exposure as a plus)—and containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). DevOps & Observability: Strong commitment to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub) and modern monitoring, logging, and application insights tools. Critical Thinking & Analytical Power: Exceptional capability to analyze complex information, troubleshoot system‐wide issues, and make high‐stakes architectural decisions. Agile Mindset: Deep understanding and practical experience within Agile methodologies to foster a collaborative engineering culture. Proven Track Record: Over 12 years of solid application development experience, including 6+ years in formal technical leadership roles. Creativity & Adaptability: A naturally curious mind with a strong willingness to learn, adapt to broad tech stacks, and find creative solutions to retail complexity.
