As a Junior Developer you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of software applications. You should have a strong understanding of programming languages and be able to work collaboratively with other team members. This is a contract position located in Funchal, Portugal.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and maintenance of software applications
Write clean, efficient and well‐documented code
Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 1 year of experience as a developer or intern
Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
Familiarity with software development methodologies Agile Scrum
Excellent problem‐solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred QualificationsExperience with web development HTML, CSS, Java Script
Knowledge of database management systems My SQL, SQL Server
Familiarity with version control systems Git
Biometric passport for international travel
Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus
