We are looking for a
Legal & Compliance Coordinator
to join our
Legal & Compliance team at Maia.
RESPONSABILITIES
* Ensure general legal support, coordinating the fulfilment of legal responsibilities, enabling decision making to have legal value;
* Represent the Group's companies in legal proceedings, litigation, registration or selection of partners for such representation;
* Select, manage and coordinate external service providers, namely lawyers and legal consultants who provide legal and judicial support in all geographies.
* Define and propose the plan of activities and the annual budget for the Legal & Compliance area;.
* Support management in internal and external legal processes across the entire organization;
* Ensure proper monitoring and validation of contractual risks, mapping contingencies;
* Develop anti-corruption policies to prevent conflicts of interest and promote a compliance culture.
PROFILE
* Bachelor Degree in Law.
* Lawyer with valid registration in Ordem dos Advogados Portuguesa (mandatory);
* Minimum experience of 4 years in a similar position;
* Experience in Corporate Law;
* Good knowledge in English – communication, comprehension and written (mandatory);
* Good knowledge in French – communication, comprehension and written (preferential);
* Organization, proactivity, team spirit, and results-oriented.
