Job Description
Aumovio Engineering Solutions (AES) Portugal is seeking a Head of Human Relations to join our team in Porto, Portugal. This key position will drive our HR strategy, foster a high-performance culture, and align our people practices with organizational goals.
* Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support AES Portugal's business objectives
* Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring excellence in all HR functions
* Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational development and change management initiatives
* Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies
* Design and manage performance management systems
* Ensure compliance with Portuguese labor laws, EU employment directives, and company policies
* Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions
* Manage employee relations
* Collaborate with global AES HR teams to align local practices with corporate strategies
Qualifications
* University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
* Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a HR leadership role
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies
* Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor laws, EU employment directives, and HR best practices
* Experience working in multinational or global organizations
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
* Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive organizational development
* Experience in talent management, performance systems, and employee engagement
* Business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
* Fluency in Portuguese and English
