As Department Manager of our beautiful and unique Casa Lisboa, you will take ownership of a department’s or floor's performance, leading and proactively coaching a team of client advisors to achieve their individual, the department/floor, and the store's targets. You will support the Store Manager in developing new and existing clients. You will be responsible for building passionate, highly motivated, and talented individuals who will continue to grow in their careers, securing succession plans.
Your role will be:
Team Management and Development
* Lead the team to drive and deliver business goals, creating a positive, enjoyable work environment that fosters cooperation and excellence.
* Define individual and team goals and targets, regularly reviewing, managing, and coaching performance against expectations.
* Provide regular and qualitative feedback to the team, coaching “in the moment” to achieve maximum impact.
* Identify, recruit, and develop talent in collaboration with the Store Manager, securing succession plans.
* Lead by example, role modeling sales techniques and supporting your team in their sales to develop KPIs.
* Support and develop the team in building long-lasting client relationships, leveraging all available resources and tools.
* Communicate with passion and inspire the team on company messages during briefings, training sessions, and one-on-one meetings.
* Ensure new joiners have a smooth onboarding process to integrate into the company effectively.
Client Experience
* Manage customer flow to ensure each client receives appropriate service and no client is left unattended or unacknowledged.
* Cultivate a client-centric mindset to ensure the highest level of client experience.
* Develop the customer database by optimizing data capture rate and accuracy.
Product
* Drive sales for assigned categories, analyze performance, and implement actions to improve and grow sales.
* Enhance the team's technical knowledge of the product categories to increase KPIs such as sales, cross-selling, and UPT.
* Share feedback with regional teams regarding performance, customer feedback, and market insights related to the assigned product categories.
Operations
* Lead the store in the absence of senior management, including opening and closing, resolving difficult clients, and escalating issues when necessary.
* Ensure policies, standards, and procedures are well understood and implemented.
* Manage inventory effectively.
* Perform additional duties and management responsibilities as required.
