Creative Operations ManagerRemote & Full TimeABOUT USWe make kitchenware that people actually LOVE to leave on the counter!
Our customers are primary style-obsessed women who care deeply about how their homes look and feel — and our products are designed to match that standard. Our brand has built strong momentum through Amazon and we are now scaling aggressively across other channels, new product categories, and international markets.
We're growing fast and are building the team and systems to get there!
THE OPPORTUNITYRight now our creative machine runs on talent, urgency, and good intentions.
That's gotten us here.
Getting to the next level requires something more: a person who can build the system behind the creative — so the team produces faster, smarter, and with less chaos at every stage. You'll own the entire creative operations function — intake, prioritization, resourcing, process, and output quality.
You'll directly manage a team of designers and contractors, set standards, hire talent, and build workflows that didn't exist before you arrived.
You will be getting in early on the next wave of growth and have a chance to build something meaningful, exciting, and rewarding.WHAT YOU'LL OWNCreative Project ManagementOwn the full creative intake, prioritization, and execution flowManage timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and launch schedulesEnsure the team is focused on highest-impact work at all timesCoordinate across Amazon, Shopify, email, social, packaging, and brand initiativesCreate organization-wide visibility into project status and capacityTeam Leadership & HiringDirectly manage 4–6 internal designers and creative contractorsOwn hiring — write briefs, screen candidates, run interviews, onboard new hiresSet performance standards and build accountability into the team cultureBalance workloads, protect focus time, and prevent burnoutBuild a positive, high-performing creative environmentProcess & Systems DevelopmentBuild SOPs and workflows from scratch — nothing exists yet, that's the pointImprove brief ? review ? approval cycles to reduce revisions and delaysImplement PM tooling (ClickUp, Asana, or similar) as the operational backboneDefine creative KPIs and establish reporting cadencesContinuously improve speed, clarity, and output qualityAdd AI capabilities everywhere and anywhere they are valuable and can improve or accelerate existing capabilitiesCross-Functional CollaborationTranslate business goals from marketing, ecommerce, and leadership into production plansPartner closely with founders, ecommerce team, product development, and Amazon teamCoordinate campaign launches, seasonal pushes, and new product rolloutsManage external agencies, freelancers, and vendor relationshipsWHAT WE NEED FROM YOUNON-NEGOTIABLESTRONGLY PREFERRED5+ years in creative ops, project management, or brand operationsDirectly managed at least 4–5 people (designers or creative team preferred)Hired, onboarded, and developed creative talent beforeBuilt workflows and processes from zero — not inherited themRun many concurrent projects without losing threadseCommerce or fast-scaling consumer brand experiencePM tool power user — ClickUp, Asana, or Monday as a core daily toolStrong async communicator: briefs, SOPs, status docsLoves AI in all it's forms, feels comfortable with generative media, tools, and keeps up with the latest happenings.eCommerce brand experience in home, lifestyle, beauty, or fashionAmazon and Shopify creative ecosystem familiarityScaled teams and processes during high-growth phasesManaged freelancers and agencies alongside internal teamEye for brand quality — you know elevated work when you see itFigma-comfortable at a reviewer levelExperience at brands in the $5M–$50M rangeInternational or remote team management experienceTHE PROFILEYou're operationally wired.
You naturally think in systems, SOPs, and prioritization frameworks but with a creative flair.
You bring calm to chaotic environments rather than adding to them.
You can speak designer language without being precious about it — and you push accountability just as confidently as you protect focus time. You've been in fast-moving ecommerce environments and you understand that speed and quality aren't opposites — the right systems make both possible.
You're a builder, not a maintainer.
You want to set something up from scratch and watch it work. You say: "Here's the intake process, prioritization framework, review cadence, and asset pipeline."Not: "Let's brainstorm the emotional essence of the campaign."THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF...You've never directly managed more than 1–2 peopleYou want to design, art direct, or own brand strategyYou need mature systems already in place to do your best workYou prefer slow-moving, clearly scoped corporate environmentsYou describe yourself primarily as a "creative" rather than an operatorDeadlines feel like someone else's problemWHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE AT 6–12 MONTHSCreative bottlenecks are dramatically reducedDesigners spend more time designing and less time chasing informationThere is a clear intake process the whole company actually usesProjects launch on time more consistentlyPriorities are visible and agreed-upon across all teamsAsset quality and brand consistency have measurably improvedThe creative team feels like a growth engine, not a constraintWHY JOIN USThis is an early seat at a scaling brand with real momentum and ambitious goals.
You'll have high ownership, direct access to founders, and the rare opportunity to build the operational foundation of a creative department from the ground up.As the brand scales, this role grows with it — toward Head of Creative Operations and beyond.
