Ferring+You

Reporting to Head of People Operations with dotted line to Local HR Head, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading our People Operations service delivery with a strong focus on employee experience and engagement. You will ensure the accuracy, compliance and efficiency across employee lifecycle, delivering consistent and high-quality People Services.

As a key contributor, you will support the development and implementation of the Global People Operations strategy, organization and governance, by streamlining HR processes, leveraging technology, enhancing overall efficiency and delivering measurable business impact—while shaping the future of People Operations at Ferring.

Your day at Ferring

1. Lead and develop a high-performing People Services team within a Shared Services Center model.

2. Oversee and manage overall end-to-end employee lifecycle services including payroll coordination, onboarding & off-boarding, benefits administration, employment contracts and other documentation, relocation/mobility processes, following high quality standards in compliance with labour laws, data privacy and internal policies and audits preparation.

3. Provide support for employee queries in alignment with company policies and local regulations and ensure readiness for audits.

4. Ensure data integrity on HR systems and employee records management.

5. Drive process optimization by identifying and implementing on-going improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

6. Leverage HR technology, automation, and digital solutions to streamline operations, enhance workflows and boost overall efficiency and effectiveness.

7. Plan, prepare and deliver HR communications relative to HR processes and programs.

8. Engage HR and Business stakeholders to gather feedback, drive data-informed process optimization and support operational change management.

9. Collaborate cross-functionally with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance teams and external vendors.

10. Resolve complex issues and serve as an escalation point for operational challenges.

11. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, service excellence and continuous learning.

12. Develop, monitor performance metrics and plan resource allocation to ensure adequate coverage and adherence to SLA´s and improve service delivery.

13. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.

14. Mature HR professional, with 7+ years of experience in HR operations with proven track record leading SSC teams (strongly preferred).

15. Extensive background in international environment, fast- growing and dynamic multi-country organizations with over 500 employees, where excellence in processes, technology, planning, and communication is essential for successful execution (mandatory).

16. Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and communicate across different cultures and all levels of the organization.

17. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.

18. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach able to balance vision with execution.

19. Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills.

20. Tech savvy and innovation-oriented, embracing digital tools and process automation.

21. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

22. Strong knowledge of Portuguese labour framework, compensation, benefits management and other HR compliance requirements.

23. Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus.

24. Excellent skills in MS Office. Experience with Workday and ServiceNow will be valued.
