Job Title: Senior Network Cybersecurity Engineer
1. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the global network infrastructure. Responsibilities include architecting firewalls, proxy/load balancers, DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM), secure cloud connectivity, and security architecture.
2. The candidate must be able to perform operational tasks such as firewall rule implementation and troubleshooting, DNS updates, incident handling, and resolution.
3. Installation, maintenance, and support of Firewall, Proxy/Load Balancers, and DDI infrastructure following change control procedures are key aspects of this role.
4. Network segmentation is a critical task, which involves gathering requirements, architecting secure network/firewall design, and implementing through interaction with application owners for both on-prem and cloud environments.
5. Cloud connectivity solutions with a focus on network security and reliability are essential in this position, including VPN, AWS DX, and Azure Expressroute.
6. Project tasks include building new network zones and firewall policy.
7. Complex Network and Security Infrastructure issues identification, analytics, troubleshooting, and resolution are daily challenges in this role.
8. Administering company data security policies and monitoring computer networks and systems for violations and security breaches are also required.
9. Security incident investigation, response, and remediation are critical skills needed for this position.
10. Staying up-to-date with latest information on security threats and trends to proactively prevent incidents is vital.
11. Alerts investigation for relevance, severity, and impact, with escalation if necessary, is an important responsibility.
12. Providing network and security infrastructure support for all other IT functions and end-users as required is also part of this role.
