Overview
We are building a world class team and would love you to join us. As an experienced Cloud Engineer you’ll be part of an agile project team working with all the infrastructure pieces of a system. From writing code to provisioning infrastructures to driving root cause analysis, all while making sure you have fun learning and building things. You will also be guiding the team on DevOps methodologies and best practices, and have very close contacts with CEO, COO (others) from client side, so English must feel as second nature to you :)
National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Responsibilities
* Be part of an agile project team working with the infrastructure pieces of a system, from writing code to provisioning infrastructure to root cause analysis.
* Guide the team on DevOps methodologies and best practices.
* Maintain close communication with client leadership (CEO, COO, others) in English.
Qualifications
* Strong proficiency with Linux/Unix systems and root cause analysis.
* Understanding of how the Internet and Web applications work under the hood.
* Observability: metrics, logs, distributed tracing.
* Configuration management frameworks such as Ansible.
* Experience maintaining applications in a production environment.
* Self-driven with little supervision and a collaborative mindset.
* Humility and motivation to learn and teach others.
* Comfortable with DevOps methodologies and best practices.
* Nice to have experience installing and managing: Open Telemetry and/or Grafana, Traefik, Redis Cluster, and Kafka.
* Strong AWS experience.
* Experience setting up CI/CD and AWS networking and accounts.
* Experience with Containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes and Docker.
* Solid understanding of CI/CD independent of tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitLab and/or Jenkins).
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tooling such as Terraform, Terragrunt or CloudFormation.
* Experience with monitoring (Open Telemetry and/or Grafana; DataDog or CloudWatch also an option).
* Experience with Helm Charts.
* Very comfortable with English.
* Some experience managing a production system.
