PWe are seeking a talented individual to join our Actuarial Valuations team at Mercer.
This role will be based in Mercer.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
/ppbr/ppAs a Junior Actuarial Analyst you will be an integral part of an exciting project, where we support our Netherlands Wealth business.
/ppYou will be working as part of a team supporting more experienced analysts and project managers in all aspects of the Pension Plans Retirement area; and work directly and in a daily basis with the Netherlands-based consultants.
/ppbr/ppbWe will count on you to: /b /pulliRequest, gather, review and upload client data, and assist in the preparation of actuarial valuations, participant statements and/or client listings and perform required financial analyses using proprietary and vended software; /liliReconcile data and assets from previous valuations and prepare summaries of data, assets, and benefits defined in the plan documentation; /liliEscalates data or plan questions related to valuations and benefit calculations to more senior analysts; /liliHelps prepare government forms and our regulatory documentation; /liliPerform Actuarial calculations; /liliCollaboration with client team and project team; /liliEnsure projects are delivered on-time and to the high standards required.
/li /ulpbr/ppbWhat you need to have: /b /pulliBachelors or Master's in Actuarial, Mathematics, Economics, Management, Biology, Finance, Engineering or similar; /liliFluent English level (B2/C1); /liliAttention to detail is critical; /liliStrong problem solving skills ability to clearly articulate complex issues; /liliExcellent planning and organizational skills in order to prioritize and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks, in order to meet the multiple deadlines; /liliProactive and goal oriented; /liliGood team player.
