🔎 We are looking for a Project Manager, in Lisbon


We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to manage cross-functional and strategic projects from initial framing through to execution and completion. The Project Lead will be responsible for ensuring that projects deliver tangible business value, are executed efficiently, and align with IT architecture, operational models, and compliance frameworks.


📌 Key Responsibilities

1. Project Framing

* Clarify the project’s objective, scope, dependencies, and major risks/issues.
* Confirm executive sponsorship and ensure there is a clear business rationale (including estimated ROI).
* Roughly size the effort needed to design and deliver the solution.
* Identify and onboard key contributors and stakeholders for the study phase.

2. Study / Design Phase

* Define and document business requirements, costs, and timelines.
* Coordinate and challenge experts to co-create effective solutions.
* Identify risks and dependencies that may impact execution.
* Build a financial case for the project (costs, projected revenues or savings).
* Design project governance (roles, responsibilities, governance bodies, stakeholder mapping).
* Build the project roadmap and secure required resources (skills, capacity, funding).

3. Execution Phase

* Drive execution according to the roadmap.
* Ensure aligned project progress and communication across all stakeholders.
* Monitor and mitigate risks, escalate issues when necessary, and adjust the roadmap accordingly.
* Track budget consumption and manage resource allocation.
* Facilitate feedback from contributors and adjust project management practices as needed.
* Prepare and lead governance meetings, produce reporting, and ensure effective communication.

4. Completion Phase

* Gather feedback from project participants.
* Identify best practices, success factors, and areas for improvement.
* Document and integrate lessons learned into the project management toolkit.

5. Strategic and Compliance Alignment

* Ensure project solutions align with:
* Enterprise IT architecture standards
* Target Operating Model (TOM) with clearly defined team mandates
* Robust internal control and compliance framework
* Simplicity, efficiency, and future adaptability (e.g., regulatory changes, business transformation)


✅ Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Minimum [X] years of experience in project management or leading complex initiatives.
* Proven ability to manage stakeholders across business and IT functions.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).
* Experience building business cases and managing project budgets.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to drive decisions in a matrixed or cross-functional environment.


🌟 Preferred Qualifications

* Master’s degree or certification in project management.
* Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
* Familiarity with enterprise architecture and operating models.
