We are looking for a Data Engineer for hybrid project in Porto.
Main requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- More than 9 years of professional experience in the role;
- Python Development: Several years of experience with Python (version 3). Be adept at writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code;
- ETL Processes: A strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is crucial. We are looking for individuals who can design and implement effective data pipelines to gather and process information from multiple sources;
- Database Management & SQL: Proficiency in SQL and experience in managing databases are required. Candidates should be comfortable with querying and manipulating data to support our Data Warehouse initiatives;
- Version Control with GIT: Knowledge of GIT for version control is necessary to ensure collaborative development and code management;
- CI/CD Practices: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, XLRelease, and XLDeploy is highly desirable;
- Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail are essential for troubleshooting and optimizing our data solutions;
- Team Collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is crucial. We value communication and teamwork to achieve our common goals;
Nice to have
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and batch file scripting would be a plus.
