Home Textile Designer
We are seeking a talented textile designer to create original, trend-driven patterns and specify fabric constructions that align with product requirements.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing end-to-end home textile designs, from concept and research to fabric development and production.
* Responsibilities:
* Conduct market and trend research to inform textile concepts.
* Create custom designs for home textiles, including both surface patterns and fabric constructions.
* Develop mood boards, presentations, and concept imagery for internal teams and clients.
* Design and release textile specifications, repeats, and production-ready packages.
* Collaborate with suppliers to develop fabrics that meet design intent, quality standards, and cost requirements.
* Work closely with sales and product development teams to review and revise artwork and constructions.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
What You'll Need:
* Bachelor's degree in textile design or related field.
* Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Strong understanding of color theory, textile construction, and materials science.
* Familiarity with CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
