Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our team. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex business-critical systems using C.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C development, particularly in complex, business-critical systems. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to troubleshoot production incidents effectively, and experience with maintaining and optimizing legacy code.
Key Responsibilities
* System Design and Development: Design, develop, and test complex business-critical systems using C, covering both business and technical requirements
* Code Maintainability: Ensure the reliability and availability of all services through tracking and managing systems technical debt levels
* Incident Troubleshooting: Replicate and troubleshoot production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution
* Legacy Code Optimization: Maintain, improve, and optimize legacy code to enhance system performance and reliability
* Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Requirements
* Technical Skills: Proven experience in C development, particularly in complex, business-critical systems; strong problem-solving skills; experience with maintaining and optimizing legacy code; knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, test automation, containerization, and public cloud services
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills; high autonomy to handle complex tasks; ability to work with cross-functional teams; experience working using Agile/SAFe frameworks
