Overview
We are seeking a skilled and delivery-focused Project Manager to join a global logistics organisation on a 6-month contract. This role requires a mid-to-senior level professional with strong core project management expertise and a technical inclination, capable of leading a diverse range of initiatives across operations and technology.
The Project Manager will oversee multiple concurrent projects, including new plant setups, technology deployments, and operational transformation initiatives such as pallet serialization. The role demands strong structure, adaptability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through to delivery and closure
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and reporting frameworks
Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, IT, engineering, and third-party vendors
Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain clear communication at all levels
Ensure alignment with business goals and strategic priorities
Support deployment of new technologies and process improvements
Establish and promote best practices in project governance and delivery
Core Technologies & Tools
Project Management Tools: MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or equivalent
Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence
Reporting & Data Tools: Excel, Power BI (or similar BI/reporting tools)
ERP / Operational Systems: Exposure to SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is beneficial
Documentation & Process Tools: Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent
Methodologies & Frameworks
Strong experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Exposure to Hybrid delivery models
Familiarity with PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management frameworks
Understanding of change management principles (e.g., ADKAR)
Experience working within structured governance environments

Proven track record as a Project Manager in mid-to-senior roles
Strong core project management capabilities (planning, execution, governance)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Technical awareness and experience working on technology-enabled initiatives

Experience working in fast-paced, complex environments
Desirable Experience
Background in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Experience with plant setup, automation, or serialization projects
Exposure to international or multi-site project delivery
