Work description
The present work is part of the ATE_SOUND3D_OS project and aims to provide support and develop Python software for a customized submarine cable installed at the Port of Leixões. In addition, it seeks to enable the monitoring and localization of the optical fiber cable using DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing) technology, as well as the monitoring of vessels entering the Port of Leixões.
Academic Qualifications
* PhD in engineering.
Minimum profile required
* PhD awarded within the past year, with experience in the field of optical fiber and more than five publications in the area.
* The profile must be compatible with the category of the scientific research career corresponding to the remuneration level defined below, with significant emphasis on fiber optic sensors and expertise in Python.
Preference factors
* Participation, including the possible undertaking of responsibilities, in research and development projects in the field of Physical Engineering.
